Regarding Modelling of Pentamer Nanobody

Post by Ahbab Ali »

Good evening sir\ma'am
I hope this message finds you well. Currently, I am working on a homology modeling of a homo-pentameric nanobody project which is part of my dissertation. My query is, can I make a homo-pentamer of a Nanobody, for which templates are not available on PDB by the I-TASSER web server? if yes! then, please share the protocol or steps it would be helpful for me.
Thank you

Yes, I-TASSER models only monomeric structures. For a homo-pentamer nanobody, first use I-TASSER to model the monomer, then use tools like SymmDock, ClusPro, or Rosetta SymDock to assemble the pentamer based on symmetry.
