Protein models look different in Chimera

Post by possumhound »

Hi,

I recently submitted a sequence to get a model in PDB format. When I opened the PDB file of model 1 in Chimera it looked completely different to the model on the ITasser results page. It was the same for all models.

Am I doing something wrong? Shouldn't the PDB file have all the information to create consistent models across all platforms e.g. Chimera/Pymol/MolMol ?

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers

I-TASSER server uses Jmol (http://jmol.sourceforge.net/).
